Cowles Center Hosting 5th Annual Groundbreaker Battle

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – If you're looking to take in an incredible dancing competition, you'll want to hit the Cowles Dance Center in downtown Minneapolis this weekend.

The Cowles Center is hosting its fifth annual "Groundbreaker Battle" competition, which will feature some of the best local break dancing one can find all on one stage. Officials with the Cowles Center said it's a fee, all-day family fun festival on Saturday.

In addition to the break dancing competition, there are several local vendors on hand as well as free workshops. It's the event to see if you want to take in the hip hop culture in its purest form. It's become a big way to connect with local youth.
