Cass County Man Dies After Being Severely Beaten

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- In northern Minnesota, officials say a man died after being the victim of a serious assault.

Cass County Sheriff's Office says the man was brought to the Cass Lake Indian Health Services Hospital last Thursday. Officials say the 25-year-old died a short time later.

Cass County Deputies and Leech Lake Tribal Police are investigating. An autopsy is scheduled in Ramsey County.
