Burns, Havlat Represent Wild At NHL All-Star Game
RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) -- Brent Burns and Martin Havlat are representing the Minnesota Wild this weekend at the NHL All-Star game.
Burns was originally picked as a defenseman, and Havlat was an injury replacement as a forward. This is the second time in the team's 10-year history that the Wild have sent two players to an All-Star game.
The format for the game was changed this year, with a pair of captains choosing the two sides in a special draft. The skills competition is Saturday and the actual game is Sunday.
