Brooklyn Park police searching for 15-year-old girl last seen on Friday

Police in the northern Twin Cities metro are asking for the public's help in locating a 15-year-old girl last seen on Friday.

March'e Linda Lashawn Myers went to spend the weekend at a family member's home in Minneapolis, according to the Brooklyn Park Police Department. She was with her friend on Saturday but did not return to her family member's home and her friend does not know where she is. 

Police say her phone is off and last pinged on the 2000 block of Irving Avenue North.

Myers is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds with black hair and black eyes.
