Brainerd Man Hurt In Wisconsin Motorcycle Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A 52-year-old Brainerd man was injured Saturday in a motorcycle crash in western Wisconsin, according to the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities responded to the crash at about 12:14 p.m. on State Highway 35 just east of 135th Avenue in Bay City, Wis., in Isabelle Township. While officers were investigating the incident, they learned a motorcyclist was heading southbound when he was stung by a bee and had a reaction.

The motorcyclist, identified as Terry Anderson of Brainerd, laid his motorcycle down and entered the south ditch. He was taken by ambulance to Mayo Hospital in Red Wing, and the extent of his injuries was not known.

The Pierce County Sheriff's Office was assisted at the scene by the Ellsworth Fire Department and Red Wing EMS.
