Boy killed in shooting at Twin Cities park, police say

A boy was killed in a shooting at a park in a northern Minneapolis suburb Sunday night, according to police.

Officers responded to a reported shooting at Hartkopf Park in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, around 10:45 p.m., the city's police department said. They found a boy who had been shot and provided medical aid, but he died at the scene.

Police did not give the boy's age.

The shooting is under investigation.
