Banham Scores 29, Gophers Fall At Michigan
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Senior Rachel Banham scored 29 points, but it wasn't enough as the University of Minnesota lost at Michigan 92-76 on Sunday in Big Ten play.
Banham added nine rebounds and eight assists in the loss. Joanna Hedstrom scored 18 points, including a career-high five 3-pointers. Shayne Mullaney scored 13 points, and Carlie Wagner added 12.
With the loss, the Gophers fell to 14-7 on the season and 6-4 in league play.
Minnesota returns home to host Rutgers at Williams Arena on Thursday.
