Average U.S. Resident Says It Takes $2.2M To Be Considered Wealthy
How much money do you think it takes to be considered wealthy?
The annual Modern Wealth Survey from Charles Schwab shows that Americans put that number at $2.2 million.
To merely be "financially comfortable," the average person believes that takes $774,000.
Both figures are a considerable boost from where they were last year -- $1.9 million and $624,000, respectively.
The median net worth of U.S. households, by the way, is $121,700.
