Allina To Begin Restricting Visitors To Protect Against Flu
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Allina Health says they are getting stricter about hospital visitors in an effort to protect patients and staff from influenza.
Their hospitals throughout the state will begin restricting certain visitors starting Wednesday.
Children under 5 and sick visitors are asked to not visit patients. And anyone with a cough is now required to wear a mask while in an Allina hospital.
Officials say exceptions may be made depending on the condition of the patient.
