A Tale Of 2 QBs In Game Between Green Bay & San Francisco

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rogers grew up in California and San Francisco's quarterback Colin Kaepernick grew up a Packers fan.

KCBS Sports reporter Joe Salvatore says it should be an interesting game.

"So it's quite interesting that Kaepernick the 49'ers quarterback grew up a Green Bay fan. And Aaron Rogers the Packers QB always wanted to play for the 49'ers. And felt kind of snubbed that he wasn't picked by the 49'ers in the draft, and Alex Smith was picked in the first round," Salvatore said.

The city by the bay is ready for the big game. City Hall is decorated in gold and burgundy lights and fans are rooting to defeat the Packers.

Salvatore tells us police they are prepared for any troublemakers.

"The biggest thing they are worried about, they're going to have extra police and undercover cops playing the part of Packer fans, wearing the gear, probably Cheese Heads as well," he said.

Police are also looking out for counterfeit holders and scalpers.
