911 Tapes Released From The Night Of Senser Hit-And-Run
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The 911 tapes from the night of Anousone Phanthavong's death have been released.
One caller wept and was too afraid to get out of her car after she saw a body on the Riverside Avenue exit ramp in Minneapolis last August. Another caller said it was too dark to tell if Phanthavong was still alive, so he yelled out: "You all right, buddy?" A third caller seemed to suspect that Phanthavong was dead.
You can listen to the calls in the video above.
On May 3, a jury found Amy Senser -- wife of former Viking Joe Senser -- guilty of two felonies in connection with Phanthavong's death. She is scheduled to be sentenced on July 9.
