82-Year-Old Man Found Dead In River After Wis. Flooding
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A third person has died from flooding in northern Wisconsin.
The Ashland County Sheriff's Office says an 82-year-old man was found dead early Thursday in a pickup truck in the Marengo River. He's identified as Elmer Lippo, an elected supervisor for the Town of Marengo.
Two others have died in the flooding since severe weather washed out roads earlier this week.
Several roads in the area are closed, including Highway 2 between Ashland and Hurley.
