1 In Custody After Stabbing At Bloomington Bar

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WCCO) – One person is in police custody after a late night stabbing at a popular Bloomington bar, according to police.

Officers responded to Cowboy Jack's Bar in Bloomington on the 2800 block of West 79th Street on a report of a stabbing at about midnight. When officers arrived, they learned a man had been stabbed in the chest with a pocket knife in the bar's entrance.

The suspect attempted to flee the scene, but police caught the person and took them into custody.

The victim was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center, where they are in serious condition. The names of the victim and suspect have not yet been released, and authorities haven't said what led up to the stabbing.
