1 Hospitalized After House Fire In Brooklyn Park
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said one person was taken to a hospital with minor burns and smoke inhalation after a house fire in Brooklyn Park Friday morning.
Fire crews were called to the 7400 block of Meadowwood Court shortly after 6 a.m. When crews arrived, a fire had started on a three-season porch of a home and it was fully involved. Fire officials said one person was home at the time of the fire and may have been hurt trying to put it out.
The person suffered burns and smoke inhalation. Fire officials said the house sustained significant damage in the fire, and they are investigating what caused the blaze.
