Two teenage siblings are expected to make a full recovery after being rescued from a camper where their sister and father died from high carbon monoxide levels. According to the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, 14-year-old Noah Mechley and 15-year-old Karley Mechley are in stable condition at Hennepin County Medical Center Saturday.

Police say a food elevator at a Fountain City restaurant where a college student was found dead was functioning properly. Workers at a Minnesota psychiatric facility are being hurt on the job more often due in part to a recent state law that has forced the facility to quickly admit more jail inmates. Through November, the first full year since the law requiring that psychiatric hospitals accept mentally ill inmates from county jails took effect, 40 assaults have been reported at the Anoka-Metro Regional Treatment Center, according to state data.

A 42-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the head Friday night in Minneapolis. Police say their ShotSpotter system was activated at about 10 a.m. on the 2600 block of Penn Avenue North.
