The United States Attorney's Office announced Thursday the sentencing of two men who committed unrelated violent crimes on the Red Lake Indian Reservation. In the U.S. District Court in Duluth Wednesday, Fernando Luis May-Gil-Garcia, 29, and 25-year-old Avery Wade Schoenborn both received sentences of 84 months, or 7 years, in prison. Both are enrolled members of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians.
