The Maplewood Police Chief says it's one of the worst cases of child abuse, he's seen. The suspect, 35-year-old Leb Meak is charged with second degree murder in the death of his girlfriend's 18-month-old girl. Police found the child, not breathing, in Meak's home Thursday.

Prosecutors alleged John Edwin Bemis III planned with his former wife, Marie Margaret Majerle, to fatally shooting her estranged husband, Richard Majerle, in January 2013. He survived the gunshot wounds that his wife admitted inflicting.
A 35-year-old Redby woman has died after being found in the middle of a Bemidji street Friday night with several stab wounds. Bemidji Police say they responded to a call about a person lying in the street at about 7:12 p.m. on the 2800 block of Ridgeway Avenue.
