Venezuelan exile uses Wynwood mural to speak out after Maduro’s capture

A Venezuelan artist living in South Florida is using a new mural in Wynwood to express himself in ways he says would not be possible back home. The artwork features an image of Nicolás Maduro after his capture alongside the phrase “Abajo Cadenas,” a Venezuelan slogan for freedom. The artist says the mural is deeply meaningful to him and dedicated to Venezuelan people everywhere.
