Some Gulf Coast restaurants lie about serving locally caught shrimp

A study from SeaD Consulting revealed that while restaurants may advertise locally caught crustaceans, most of the shrimp they served was imported. Shrimp testing was done in several cities including Tampa and St. Petersburg which had the highest shrimp fraud rate at 96%.
