Miami City Commission approves new city manager

James Reyes has been appointed as Miami’s new city manager by the city commission under new Mayor Eileen Higgins. Reyes previously served as Miami-Dade County’s chief of public safety and ran unsuccessfully for county sheriff last year. Higgins says she chose Reyes for his leadership approach.
