Former Miccosukee tribe chairman Billy Cypress dies at 74
During his time as the tribe's chair, Cypress oversaw the Miccosukees' gaming operations and was the leading advocate for the tribe and the Florida Everglades, leading fights in Congress and the Supreme Court.
