Cold front to boost South Florida rain chances midweek, scattered showers possible into weekend

South Florida’s weather remains mostly quiet for now, but rain chances rise slightly on Wednesday with about a 20% chance of stray showers. By Thursday, moisture ahead of a trailing cold front is expected to bring scattered showers and a few storms. Drier air will briefly follow, but the front is forecast to stall and lift back north over the weekend, bringing another round of scattered showers.
