Woman Killed In Miami Shooting
MIAMI (CBS4) - A man is on the run after allegedly shooting a Miami woman early Monday morning, a violent death on a day intended to celebrate the non-violence of Dr. Martin Luther King.
The shooting happened in the 2200 block of NW 92nd Street. Police are still investigating, but family members say the 22-year-old woman was shot by a boyfriend who had just been released from prison after 8 years.
It's not known what led to the shooting, but a car at the scene was riddled with bullets. There are indications the car was hit with bullets as someone tried to chase after the shooter.
Two other people were injured, but their injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
Police have yet to release the names of the victims or the suspect.
