Waste Water Line Break Forces Water Advisory On Miami Beach
MIAMI BEACH (CBS4) - Miami Beach health officials are urging people to stay out of the water in certain areas due to a waste water line break.
A water advisory was issued Tuesday afternoon when a waste water line broke at Dade Boulevard between Convention Center Drive and Meridian Avenue.
The cause of the break is unknown.
There is no threat to drinking water, but officials say nearby waterways like the Collins Canal, Indian Creek, and Biscayne Bay along the western shoreline of Miami Beach from Government Cut to Kennedy Causeway could be polluted.
