UM May Have New Def. Coordinator
MIAMI (CBS4) - University of Miami head football coach Al Golden may be bringing his former defensive coordinator with him to the Hurricanes.
According to the Philadelphia Enquirer, Golden may tap Mark D'Onofrio to be the Canes new defensive play caller.
D'Onofrio is a former teammate of Golden's at Penn State University. He's been at Temple for five years and has also coached at Virginia, Rutgers, and Georgia.
D'Onofrio coached the defense that ranked number one in the MAC in 2007; and a 2009 defense that helped Temple win 9 games and play in a bowl game for the first time in 30 years.
