Toddlers Recover Days After Near Drowning In North Miami

NORTH MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- The two toddlers who nearly drowned in a family pool in North Miami have recovered and are expected to be released from the hospital Thursday.
The children, a one-year-old boy and two-year-old girl, were found unresponsive in the water Tuesday, October 11th, at a home at 1150 N.E. 129th Street.
Officials said despite the close call, the children's condition stabilized and they were breathing on their own a day later.
Police are investigating.
