Teen Dies After Being Shot In Plantation Home
PLANTATION (CBS4) - An 18-year old who shot in the upper torso Wednesday night at a house in Plantation has died from his injuries.
Plantation police Detective Philip Toman said Dakota Donovan was accidentally shot in a home in the 52 hundred block of SW 3rd Street. Toman said there were several other teens in the home at the time of the shooting and his investigators were trying to determine who brought the gun into the home and the events that led up to the shooting.
Toman, who was shot with a small-caliber hand gun around 7 p.m., was rushed to Broward General Medical Center where he died.
