Elem. School Lockdown Lifted After Homestead Shooting
HOMESTEAD (CBS4) – A precautionary lockdown at West Homestead Elementary school was lifted hours after a shooting in a nearby apartment complex.
According to Homestead Police Detective Fernando Morales, one man shot another at an apartment complex located at SW 8th Street and 14th Avenue.
The victim was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
The suspect remains on the loose.
The school lockdown was lifted around 10:30 a.m.
