Police: Retired Teacher Travels To Boynton Beach For Sex With A 'Boy'

BOYNTON BEACH (CBSMiami) – A retired teacher was arrested on Thursday for allegedly traveling to Boynton Beach to have sex with a minor he met online.

However, the 15-year-old boy was actually an undercover Boynton Beach detective.

According to the arrest affidavit, 64-year-old Dennis Blake first contacted the officer on October 13th, 2014.

Blake – who was a teacher in Indiana – reportedly texted sexually explicit photographs of himself to the 'boy.'

The former teacher was arrested at TooJay restaurant in the Boynton Beach Mall at around 6 p.m.

He is being charged with soliciting a child for unlawful sexual conduct, traveling to meet a minor to commit an unlawful sex act and transmission of harmful material to a minor.

He was taken to the Palm Beach County Jail.
