Plantation Man Killed In Early Morning Crash
DAVIE (CBSMiami) – A man died in a single car crash Saturday morning in Davie.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Steven Johnson, 42, of Plantation, was traveling northbound on Davie Road in a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe just after 4:30 a.m. and missed the left turn for westbound State Road 84.
Johnson crashed into a concrete barrier and was transported to Broward Health Medical Center where he was pronounced dead according to FHP.
A news release said Johnson was not wearing a seat belt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
