Emergency Landing At Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport
FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - The pilot of a small plane walked away seemingly unscathed after making an emergency landing at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport.
The pilot, who reported landing gear problems, flew around west of the airport for a while to burn off fuel.
He then carefully brought it down on the runway, landing on the aircraft's belly.
The pilot was the only person on the plane.
