Pfizer Recalls Chantix Batches Over Carcinogen Concerns
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Pfizer is recalling some Chantix batches after finding high levels of possible cancer-causing chemicals in them.
The company says while there's no immediate danger, it's only a potential problem if someone's exposed to those chemicals over a long period of time.
Pfizer says the health benefits to quit smoking outweigh the theoretical potential cancer risk here.
