Miller Close To Return For Heat
MIAMI (CBS4) - The Miami Heat are in need of a wing shooter who can help keep the lanes open for LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. The Heat are about to get their man as guard/forward Mike Miller is close to returning to the active roster.
Miller sustained a torn ligament and fracture to his thumb injury during the preseason and hasn't played a game in the regular season. The injury happened when his thumb got hung up in a jersey during the preseason.
He made the trip with the Heat to New York for Friday's game against the New York Knicks. He'll also be with the team when they play the next game against the Washington Wizards.
