Military Training Lights Up Homestead Air Base
HOMESTEAD, Fla. (CBSMiami) – If you live in Homestead, you might think you hear a war being conducted outside this morning. But, there's no reason to be worried.
According to the Homestead Air Reserve Base, airmen at the base are going through training at the base this weekend that will simulate a war zone.
Residents may hear sirens, multiple alarms, simulated explosions and aircraft launching throughout the weekend, but there is no military emergency, it's only a test.
