BRADENTON, Fla. (CBS4/ AP) —Authorities said a man shot and killed his ex-girlfriend before turning the gun on himself on Thanksgiving.

The shooter was identified as 26-year-old William Rolston and the ex-girlfriend as 26-year-old Lindsay Bellow, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.

The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reported Saturday the couple had recently ended a long-term relationship and were arguing in Rolston's Bradenton apartment at the time. Police responded to the shooting at approximately 7 p.m. Thursday.

Rolston shot to death Bellows and then shot himself, deputies said.

The Sheriff's Office has not yet released a 911 call made by neighbors after the shooting.

No further information about the shooting has been released.
