Woman detained after man stabbed multiple times in Broward Saturday evening, police say
A woman was taken into custody after police said she stabbed a man multiple times during an altercation in a Broward neighborhood on Saturday evening.
According to the Lauderhill Police Department, officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 4400 block of Northwest 12th Court at approximately 7:04 p.m.
When they arrived, they found an adult man with several stab wounds. He was taken to Broward Health Medical Center in stable condition.
Police said a preliminary investigation showed the man and an adult woman were involved in an altercation at the location, and the woman stabbed the man multiple times.
The woman is currently detained while the investigation continues.
Detectives from the Criminal Investigations Division and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene.
No additional information was released, including the identity of the people involved.
