Jake Long Named Associated Press All-Pro

MIAMI (CBS4) -- For the first time in his three-year NFL career, Dolphins tackle Jake Long has been named to the Associated Press' All-Pro Team. The AP's All-Pro Team is the longest running selection awards program in existence and is chosen by a national panel of 50 media members.

Long, who was been named to Sports Illustrated's, The Sporting News' and Pro Football Weekly's All-Pro teams, started at left tackle all 16 games this season. He was selected as a starter for the AFC Pro Bowl team at left tackle, joining Richmond Webb (1992-95) as the only Dolphins offensive tackles to be named as Pro Bowl starters. Long becomes the first Dolphins offensive lineman selected to three straight Pro Bowls since Webb was named to seven straight Pro Bowls (1990-96).
