SCOUTING: For a region of the country that had a difficult time producing quality offensive linemen for so many years, things have certainly changed in South Florida. And this young man is perhaps at the center of that turnaround; viewing the "big men" in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties in a much different light. In plain and simple terms, Scaife is a big-time prospect that has proven this year that he is indeed ready to join that national elite club. His quickness and strength are amazing. Add in the reality that this is someone who has two more seasons to play and this will get interesting. As the opposition will find this season when they play the Cougars, this impressive athlete has indeed grown up. He is faster, bigger and much more experienced than he was during his sophomore grade season. He is ready to join American Heritage standout Tedarrell Slaton and Central's Navaughn Donaldson as local linemen getting serious national exposure. He is that good and dominating.
