Officials: 16 Cuban Migrants Make It To Florida Keys In 'Maritime Smuggling Event'
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Federal authorities said 16 Cubans made landfall Wednesday morning in the Florida Keys.
The migrants were on a homemade raft and were taken into federal custody for processing.
Authorities were calling this a "maritime smuggling event."
The migrants will likely be returned to Cuba.
