HIALEAH (CBSMiami) -- A detour for Hialeah drivers is scheduled for this weekend, barring any weather-related issues.

Starting Friday, November 20, 2015 at 9 p.m., a full road closure is scheduled to occur on NW 57 Avenue, West 4 Avenue, and Red Road from West 60 Street through West 58 Terrace while water main installation work is performed.

A detour will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone. The detour is scheduled to last until 5 a.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015 and will be as follows:

Drivers traveling northbound on Red Road can:

• Turn right on West 53 Terrace and head east towards Palm Avenue
• Turn left on Palm Avenue and head north towards West 60 Street
• Turn left on West 60 Street and head west towards Red Road
• Turn right back onto northbound Red Road

Drivers traveling southbound on Red Road can:

• Turn left on West 60 Street and head east towards Palm Avenue
• Turn right on Palm Avenue and head south towards West 57 Street
• Turn right on West 57 Street head west towards Red Road
• Turn left back onto southbound Red Road

This work is part of the overall improvements along SR 823, NW 57 Avenue, and West 4 Avenue, underway from West 53 Street to West 84 Street.

The project began January 2015 and is anticipated to last through June 2017 with an estimated cost of almost $41 million.
