Glass Front Shattered At Pompano Beach Seafood Store

FT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) - A sense of deja vu for the owner of a Pompano Beach seafood store after someone smashed in his glass front.

It happened Monday morning at the Maine Lobsters Seafood store at 1101 S Dixie Highway.

The glass front door was shattered but it's not clear if was shot out or smashed in. Someone in the neighborhood reported that they heard gunfire but the Broward Sheriff's Office has not confirmed that.

The store's owner said it was closed at the time and it didn't appear as if anything had been taken.

This was the fifth time someone had broken into the store. In one of the previous break ins, the owner said about $15,000 in seafood was taken.
