Fins Lose Hartline To Injury

MIAMI (CBS4) - The Miami Dolphins have already played a game without one of their starting receivers, but now, the Fins could be without starter Brian Hartline for the rest of the season.

Hartline underwent a surgical procedure Tuesday to repair a hand injury he suffered during last Sunday's loss to the Cleveland Browns. Earlier in the season, the Fins had to play without receiver Brandon Marshall.

The former Ohio State receiver was just coming into his own this season. In the four games before the injury, Hartline had 18 catches for 328 yards. He had also caught at least one pass for over 24 yards in every game since October 24, according to CBS4 news partner the Miami Herald.

Marshall was listed on Wednesday's injury report as having limited participation in practice, but with Hartline out, the Fins can't afford to sit Marshall if they have any hopes of winning.

Among the other players limited in practice for the Fins: linebackers Channing Crowder and Karlos Dansby, defensive end Kendall Langford, and tackle Jake Long.
