Fire Forces Evacuations In Northwest Miami-Dade
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - Firefighters battled a stubborn fire in northwest Miami-Dade early Tuesday morning.
It happened in the area of NW 10th Avenue and 119th Street.
This is what Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said happened:
"When units arrived they found two live wires down and an active fire burning trees and a grassy area nearby. The crews were able to isolate and contain the fire to its original source, protecting a nearby home and business. There were propane tanks adjacent to the fire making the firefight more dangerous."
Adjacent structures were evacuated.
There were no injuries reported.
