SOUTHWEST MIAMI-DADE (CBS4) - A mother and her son are dead and two others are in the hospital after a domestic dispute turned violent in Southwest Miami-Dade Wednesday night.

The dispute occurred at the Miller Dreams Townhouses on 13000 block of Southwest 56 Street just before 8 p.m.

Miami-Dade Police Detective Roy Rutland says a mother and her adult son have been pronounced dead. A teenage girl and an adult male were transported to the hospital.

The man's injuries are reportedly self-inflicted. Police believe he may have been the attacker.

Witnesses describe a gruesome scene in an otherwise quiet neighborhood.

"I saw an ambulance coming in and saw a body being dragged out with a stab wound and the wife was laying on the floor," said neighbor Eric Kahlan.

The homicide is under investigation.
