Dolphins Sign Kicker Nate Kaeding
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - With Dan Carpenter not playing the rest of the year, the Miami Dolphins addressed their kicking needs by signing the most accurate kicker in NFL history.
The Dolphins announced Friday they had signed Nate Kaeding, formerly of the San Diego Chargers.
Kaeding has hit 180 of 207 career field goal attempts for an 87 percent conversion rate. He's also hit 99.4 percent of his extra points and has a career long filed goal of 57 yards.
Kaeding spent the last nine years in San Diego and at one time was one of the highest paid kickers in the NFL.
