Dolly Dissipates Over Eastern Mexico

MIAMI (CBSMiami) – Downgraded after it came ashore just south of Tampico, Mexico Tuesday evening, Tropical Depression Dolly continued to weaken Wednesday as it moved inland.

At 11 a.m., the center of the system was about 90 miles west-southwest of Tampico. Dolly's sustained maximum winds had dropped from 35 to 30 mph as it moved to the west at 8 mph.

Mexico's government has discontinued all watches and warnings for this storm.

The National Hurricane Center said remnants of Dolly should move farther inland over Mexico Wednesday and dissipate.

Wednesday's 11 am advisory is the last advisory issued on the storm.
