Cuban Migrants Made Landfall In Marathon, Now In Federal Custody
MIAMI (CBSMiami) - After making a dangerous crossing from Cuba, more than a dozen migrants were picked up after they made landfall in Marathon.
The U.S. Border Patrol's Miami Sector said the 18 migrants made the voyage in a homemade vessel.
They are now in federal custody and will likely be returned to the communist island.
