Cat Rescue From Burning Plantation Townhome

PLANTATION (CBSMiami) - The residents of a Plantation townhome are safe after an early morning fire.
Firefighters sent out a tweet of smoke billowing out of the residence at 593 North University Drive.

Going room by room, firefighters were able to rescue a cat trapped inside. It's owners were able to escape on their own.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
