Car Slams Into Man On Biscayne Blvd, Kills Him

MIAMI (CBSMiami) -- Authorities were investigating a deadly crash on Biscayne Boulevard early Thursday morning.

Miami Police said a car slammed into a 34-year old man who walked in front of a car driving northbound on Biscayne Boulevard near NE 15th Street around 5 a.m.

The man has since died from his injuries.

Witnesses told police the driver of the car was not speeding at the time of the crash.

The driver of that car stayed at the scene and was working with investigators.

At last check, detectives had closed off the area between NE 14th Street and NE 15th Street as they conducted their investigation.

Authorities have not released the identity of the man killed in the crash.
