Car Slams Into Gables Tree, One Dead

CORAL GABLES (CBSMiami) -- A car slammed into a tree in Coral Gables Friday morning, killing one person.
Coral Gables Police said the driver hit a tree near the 9600 block of Old Cutler Road just before 5 a.m.
It is unclear what caused the driver crash.
Drivers on Old Cutler Road were diverted away from the road until about 9 a.m., causing some traffic tie ups in the area.
